Have you ever had one of those moments where you are completely in
sensory overload? The tv is blaring, dog is barking, kids are nagging and then the
phone rings. You lose it!
That's it, I'm moving to Mars! Or Sparta.....hmmmm ancient Greece sounds great now!

The power of silence is more profound than you think.

1. When listening to someone intently, letting them speak their mind and
really HEARING what they are saying - in silence.
2. When having an argument, think about what your words will really mean
and the impact it will have on your future - in silence.
3. Have you ever though, in any given situation; that you are going to lose your
cool completely and it would in other circumstances be out of character?
Take a deep breath, re-assess the scenario - in silence.
4. Emotions and feelings spill over in the most inappropriate ways and times
that you can handle differently if you just take a time-out and think - in silence.

The emotional release you can get from something as simple as a long drive,
in complete silence is profound. Try it!

Enough

A-Ha Moment: A flash of insight related to a problem—e.g., integration of a complex set of data—which may result in a solution to the problem.

We are all faced with some or other situation in our lives where we either
have no clue what to do OR, we know but we no idea how to
tackle it head on, or make a decision we will regret later.
When your A-Ha hits you, it hits like a lightning bolt. You feel your head jerk back
and can practically feel the light bulb buzz on, then light up to something akin to
fireworks of realization.
So many times we feel like we are not enough. Not a good enough parent. Not
good enough at our jobs. Not a good enough partner. Not skinny/tall/blonde/pretty/smart enough. Which begs the real question. WHAT DOES ENOUGH REALLY MEAN??
Enough: e-nough - so as to be adequate. Sufficient; as much as necessary.
Can you see how much we try and overcompensate on something
that is in actual fact really very simple?
So often we ruin the bigger picture (albeit in our minds) with the silly
efforts of being better when all we have to be, is ourselves. Completely, fully and
originally ourselves. A-Ha! Enough!

If you still don't GET it, put on them earphones, crank up the volume and listen to this
amazingly deep tune. Sing those words in your head that I know you have
memorized, and find yourself. Just....BE!
